    Mission Statement

    At Top Notch Liquor, we are committed to providing a premium selection of spirits, wines, and beers with exceptional customer service. Our goal is to create a welcoming, responsible, and compliant shopping experience for all customers while upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.

    1. Age Verification & Sales Policy

    • Legal Age: No alcohol will be sold to individuals under 21 years of age, in compliance with federal and state laws.

    • ID Requirement: Valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport) is required for all purchases. No exceptions.

    • Refusal of Service: Top Notch Liquor reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated, lacks proper ID, or attempts to purchase for minors.

    • Proxy Sales: Purchasing alcohol on behalf of someone under 21 is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate refusal of sale.

    2. Product Selection & Pricing

    • Inventory: We offer a curated selection of top-shelf and standard liquors, including whiskey, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, wine, beer, and mixers. Special orders may be accommodated upon request.

    • Pricing: Prices are clearly displayed and subject to change based on market conditions. Discounts, promotions, or bundle deals may be offered at management’s discretion.

    • Returns: Unopened, undamaged products may be returned within 7 days with a receipt, subject to state laws. No returns on opened or chilled items.

    3. Customer Service Standards

    • Respect & Courtesy: Staff will treat all customers with respect and provide assistance in selecting products, answering questions, or offering recommendations.

    • Knowledge: Employees are trained to provide information about our inventory, including flavor profiles, pairing suggestions, and new arrivals.

    • Complaints: Customer feedback is valued. Complaints can be directed to the store manager in person or via email/phone.

    4. Safety & Conduct

    • No Consumption On-Site: Alcohol may not be opened or consumed on store premises.

    • Behavior: Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior will result in removal from the store and potential banning.

    • Security: Surveillance cameras are in use for the safety of customers and staff. Shoplifting will be reported to law enforcement.

    • Health Protocols: Top Notch Liquor follows all local health guidelines (e.g., masks, sanitization) as required.

    5. Payment Policy

    • Accepted Methods: Cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover), and mobile payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).

    • No Checks: Personal checks are not accepted.

    • Fraud Prevention: Suspicious transactions may require additional verification or be declined.

    6. Delivery & Online Orders

    • Availability: Delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of Top Notch Liquor, subject to local regulations.

    • Age Verification: ID must be presented upon delivery. No exceptions.

    • Fees: A delivery fee may apply, with minimum order amounts set at management’s discretion.

    • Processing: Online orders are processed within 24 hours, with same-day delivery available if ordered before 3:00 PM.

    7. Responsible Drinking

    • Education: Top Notch Liquor promotes responsible consumption and may provide resources or signage about safe drinking practices.

    • Limits: Staff may limit sales to individuals purchasing excessive quantities if intoxication is suspected.

    • Community: We support local initiatives to prevent underage drinking and alcohol abuse.

    8. Compliance with Laws

    • Licensing: Top Notch Liquor operates under a valid liquor license and adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations.

    • Taxes: All applicable excise and sales taxes are included in pricing or added at checkout as required.

    • Restricted Items: Tobacco, vaping products, or other regulated items (if sold) follow the same age and ID policies as alcohol.

    9. Employee Policies

    • Training: All staff are trained in alcohol sales laws, customer service, and safety procedures.

    • Conduct: Employees must not consume alcohol during shifts and must report any policy violations immediately.

    • Verification: Staff are responsible for checking IDs and logging refusals of service as needed.

    10. Promotions & Events

    • Tastings: In-store tastings may be hosted periodically, adhering to local liquor laws (e.g., no minors, limited samples).

    • Loyalty Program: Customers may enroll in a rewards program to earn points or discounts on future purchases.
